If you have sex with someone that you later finds out has genital warts, you most likely are going to end up with genital warts as well. It can take anywhere from one month to three months for genital warts to appear and become large enough for a person to notice them. Always protect yourself by avoiding having sex with anyone you don’t know, or trust not to have genital warts.
