Over the Counter Genital Warts Treatment

Here is the true story:

Frustration

I've had genital warts for the past ten years. Over that time I've been treated by several dermatologists and over the counter genital warts treatment. Yet my warts continued to return back. It was very frustrating, stressful and needless to say eliminated any potential intimate relationships in my life.

Understanding the infection

The Vinegar and cotton with tape works, but is not a life time solution…There is a very good chance the wart or warts will return because the HPV virus (Human Papilloma Virus) is still in your body. Over the past two years I've researched more topics on over the counter genital warts treatment than you can even imagine….Now I am entirely free of warts for about one year already. Understanding what causes an infection is the most crucial part ov successful over the counter genital warts treatment.

Human papillomavirus

Warts are growths on the skin caused by HPV or human papillomavirus. HPVs produce proteins that interfere with cell function preventing excessive growth, including the growth of tumors. This family of viruses, including those that cause warts, are transmitted through contact. Even though warts present externally, internal treatment (boosting your immune system with good diet, appropriate herbs and vitamins) used in conjunction with topical treatment will greatly increase long-term cure rates. Anything acitic combined with Aspirin, is the active ingredient in wart removers, it's saliclic acid, which is aspirin.

Worked the best for me Method

Anything acitic will remove the wart: lime juice, vinegar, pineapple, vitamin C, etc. The one over the counter genital warts treatment that worked the best for me was a paste of aspirin and vinegar placed on the warts, let the paste dry then cover with tape over night. Because the genital area is so sensitive placing and containing the saliclic acid on just the warts was less painful. It took me three days to remove the smaller ones, five days to entirely remove the bigger ones from my penis. In a day or two they will turn black, continue to apply until they have fallen off on their own, do not peal off.

Boost your immune system

But the most important part of over the counter genital warts treatment is your continued maintenance to boost your immune system to prevent their return. Elderberry extract which can be purchased in any health foods store will boost your immune system, and in many cases destroy the HPV virus entirely…There are a few additional supplements along with elderberry extract that I use, but won't get into at this time…If you do a google search 'elderberry extract, warts' you will run across these additional supplements. Elderberry extract can also be used to remove the warts without any pain whatsoever, but it will take longer…

Here is the formula:

Elderberry extract taken internally three times a day. 30 drops in a drink (each dose is 700 MG of Elderberry Extract)Take the 700 MG each day until they are gone, this will usually take from one to two months. Then take one dose each day to boost your immune system each day.

The Different Types of Genital Wart Medicine

Genital warts are a sexually transmitted disease and are associated with the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Genital warts present themselves in different variations, but they are almost always flesh colored, and are typically raised bumps on or around the genital area. Both men and women can suffer from genital warts, but there is treatment for this problem. Genital wart medicine can range from topical treatments to injections, and may be ongoing treatments. Some of them can prevent a genital wart before it appears.

Some topical medicines includes keratolytics. Keratolytics are agents that include acid bases that essentially burn away the warts, similar to the way a wart anywhere on the body is burned off.

Some keratolytics work for a longer period than others, so be sure to ask your doctor if this medicine is a long lasting topical treatment or one that will need continued, ongoing use.

Interferons are another type of genital wart medicine that works in a different way. Interferons are protein based medicines with antiviral and anti tumor effects. This medicine can be administered topically or it can be injected directly into the warts. The latter is the quicker, more effective method as it treats from the inside out.

There do tend to be a lot of side effects reported with this type of medicine so be sure to check with your physician for contraindications if you are taking or plan to take any other medications during treatment.

The new HPV vaccine can be effective in preventing genital warts that are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus. This genital wart medicine is only available for women and girls between the ages of 9 and 26 as a vaccination. The genital wart prevention is a bonus of this vaccine, but it will not be administered as a treatment.

The HPV vaccine only treats for four of the more than 75 strains of HPV, so it is not a full proof prevention. If you happen to have genital warts at the time of your HPV vaccine, you can still transmit them to others during sexual contact. You should be treated for the warts separately.

There are some herbal genital wart medicines that claim to help not only these types of warts but all kinds of warts on the body. Herbal remedies are often very effective, but some of these medicines counter what the doctors will tell you about medicine for genital warts.

Most doctors will advise against using medicine for common warts on a genital wart. If you have genital warts, the best thing to do is see a doctor for treatment. It is not really a good idea to self-medicate, particularly for something as serious as warts in the genital area.

If medicines do not work to permanently cure your genital warts, you may need to have the warts surgically removed. Of course, they will return if you continue to have sexual intercourse with a partner who has the condition and is untreated. Ask your doctor for a genital wart medicine that will most likely not allow the warts to return on their own.

A Topical Wart Cure is the Best Solution to Kill Wart-Causing HPV

Jeff Paul :

A natural and organic wart cure used to be a thing of the future. The traditional procedure for treating warts is cauterization, wherein the warts are burned off. However, this leaves marks on the skin that may lead to scarring. Though a topical anesthesia is applied, cauterization is not completely painless. Some stinging may be felt during the procedure, and it doesn’t make for a pretty sight post-treatment.

Warts are a common skin infection that is caused by the human papillomavirus, or HPV. Though it is more commonly known nowadays as a cancer-causing virus transmitted through sexual contact, there are certain types of HPV that cause warts. Despite its commonality, however, warts tend to go unnoticed and therefore end up untreated by either traditional or alternative wart cure.

The danger with leaving warts untreated is that the infection can be passed on via direct contact, or even through contact with a contaminated object like a used towel. This in turn can lead to bad reactions for people who become infected with HPV, and in extreme cases can even result in cancer.

Natural and organic topical treatment solutions for warts not only cure the skin infection but also kill the virus itself. And because the procedure is non-invasive, warts are eliminated without scarring or any damage to the skin tissues. Some preparations are also believed to have reduced the probability of tumors arising from the human papillomavirus.

Though it may sound far-fetched to some who tend to be skeptical when it comes to alternative treatments, using something prepared from natural and organic materials in fact offers the best chance for a completely hypoallergenic treatment regimen.
